Daniel Morcombe Foundation
The ‘F’ Word… Fake

A mini-cyclone, heatwaves and rolling blackouts on Day 1 of shooting might put most people off. But this crew was determined to make something special for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

In collaboration with DMF and Young Advisors across Australia, we produced two videos which are being used as educational resources for teenagers in schools around the country. The aim of the project is to keep kids safe online and better understand the fast-evolving risks of sextortion and generative-AI abuse.

The stories themselves are grounded in lived experience and it was an honour to be trusted with bringing them to life in collaboration with victim survivors.

These videos will live in the Daniel Morcombe Foundation Adolescent Hub:
a trusted set of youth-informed resources designed to help young people aged 13–15 recognise online harm, respond safely, and get support.

A huge thank you to our fantastic young actors from across QLD, kept anonymous for this important piece of work.
