For their build-to-rent development in Preston, Aware Real Estate and their sub-brand WeAreLiving wanted to capture the energy and lifestyle of one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing inner north neighbourhoods. With a focus on attracting renters who value both connection and character, the brief was all about highlighting what makes Preston special.

We focused on the area's easy access to the city via bike paths and public transport, as well as its local gems, independent stores, bustling bakeries, colourful pubs and low-key restaurants that give the suburb its vibrant, lived-in feel.

Shot over a single day, we worked with a diverse cast to bring everyday moments to life: grabbing coffee from a local roaster, picking up fresh bread from the market or coasting home along the bike path.

As always, casting, locations and production were managed end-to-end by the Second Brekky team.
